Online Ordering & Third Party Sales Channels
Apart from doing sales through POS App(in-stores), we have integrated with third-party sales channels, namely UberEats and DoorDash. Additionally, we have our own online ordering platform available on both Web and App.
List of Stores for Third Party Sales Channel
For each third party sales channel, we have the list of all stores for which price-level is added for it from store’s sales-channel tab.
-
Connection status Indicates whether the initial store setup has been completed for the sales channel.
-
OPEN/CLOSED status
a. Indicates whether the store is OPEN or CLOSED on the third-party platform.
b. Only connected stores can be set as OPEN.
c. A connected but CLOSED store will not be available for ordering.
d. A disconnected store will not appear in the store list on the ordering platform.
Third Party Sales-Channel's Dedicated Detail Page for the Store
We have a dedicated page showing its operating hours for the third party, which defaults to the main store’s hours. From this detail page, users can also manage the store’s OPEN/CLOSE status.
Manage the OPEN/CLOSE status
By clicking on the Manage button, from the store's third party detail page, admins can update store status as:
- Close Indefinitely: The store will remain CLOSED in the platform until it is manually set to OPEN.
- Close Today: The store will be CLOSED for today only. It will automatically reopen the next day based on the configured Weekday and Holiday/Public Holiday settings.
- OPEN Indicates the store is OPEN TODAY, reflecting today’s operational timings.
Opening and Closing hours and Working Days for the Third Party
By default, the timings are inherited from the main store. However, they can be modified here, and the updated timings will be considered for the third party.
Holidays and Public Holidays
Holidays and public holidays set in the store’s Store Timings section (accessible from the store’s detail page) will apply across all third-party sales channels, for this store. The holidays displayed on the third party’s detail page are derived from the main store’s settings.
Steps to Open a Store for the First Time in a Third Party Sales Channel
Let's go through the steps using Online Ordering as an example:
-
Navigate to the store’s Detail Page → Sales Channels, set the price level, and click Save.
-
From the ordering’s detail page for the store, under Integrations, update the opening and closing hours and working days for the third party. (By default, the timing will be inherited from the main store.)
-
On the day the store should be open for the first time, toggle the OPEN button from either the Integrations section or the Store’s Sales Channels, and click "Save" button.
-
For UberEats, DoorDash (DD), and Menulog (sales channels other than Online Ordering), you will also need to perform an additional "PUSH MENU" sync action. This step is required to push products, prices, and other details to the third-party platform. Once the PUSH MENU sync is completed, the store will be OPEN on the third-party platform and ready to accept orders.
Closing a Store in Third Party Sales Channel
A store can be closed from Integrations or Store's sales-channels.
Also, we have two options to close a store:
- Close Indefinitely: The store will remain CLOSED in the platform until it is manually set to OPEN.
- Close Today: The store will be CLOSED for today only. It will automatically reopen the next day based on the configured Weekday and Holiday/Public Holiday settings.
Store-Closing Message: This is an optional message that will be displayed on the ordering platform. It currently appears in the following scenarios:
- When a store is closed indefinitely.
- When the store has no pre-order days and is closed for the day.
Opening a Store in Third Party Sales Channel
A store can be opened from Integrations or Store's sales-channels.
Online Ordering
We have our own online ordering platform available on both Web and App.
Ubereats
We are also integrated to UberEats Sales Channels.
Connecting a Store to Ubereats
Ensure the price-level is mapped in the Store's Detail Page → Sales Channels tab. To connect the store to Ubereats, use the Uber Store ID to connect.
Doordash
Ensure the price-level is mapped and the DoorDash sales channel is enabled from the Store's Detail Page → Sales Channels tab.
Connect Store in DoorDash
To connect a store to DoorDash
- Click on the "Connect" button to begin the setup process.
- Fill in the mandatory fields. When entering the store name, ensure it matches exactly as provided by DoorDash.
- Upon successful setup of the store, the setup status will show as "success".
- Provide the necessary details for onboarding and complete the connection process. Once the onboarding is complete, the store will appear in a connected status in the admin panel.
