Gift Cards
Admin can create mainly two types of gift cards- preloaded cards and open cards.
Pre-loaded Cards
| Card type* | Preloaded or open card |
| Batch name* | Gift card batch name. |
| Amount* | Dollar value of the card. |
| Quantity* | Number of cards to be generated in the batch. |
| Validity* | Validity in months/ years. |
| Stores | Stores in which it can be used as payment media. If no stores are mapped, it can be used in all stores. |
| Pre-activation | By-defauly the gift cards in a batch will be in-active. A card in a batch gets activated only after it is sold via BTill POS. In case user needs to create pre-actiavted cards, i.e cards while are active from the time it is created, enable the this "Pre-activation" switch. |
Open Cards
Open cards are almost same as pre-loaded cards except that its dollar value is not set at its creation time. The amount is set when the card is sold through POS.
Pre-activated cards
It is a type of pre-loaded cards which are by-default active from its time of creation.
All Cards
Here we have the list of all individual gift cards.
Gift card Edit
No other details except gift card name can be edited once a gift card is created.
Share card
From the detail of each card, user can share the card to entered email
Export card
From the detail of each card, user can export the card to an excel sheet with its details.
Block card
User can block a card.
Gift card batch - view details.
User can view the details of a batch from here.
View all individual cards and its details.
Admin can view the details of each card under the batch.
Export All gift cards in the batch
From the detail of each batch, user can download an excel sheet with the details of all cards in the batch.
Customer's View of his/her gift card
When the gift card of any type is activated, the customer who is using the gift card can view his/her card details by entering the URL : https://banjos-nxt-dev.web.app/gift-card .Here, by entering the valid Card Number and PIN on the gift card, the user will be verified and view his card details.
User's card details such as card's total amount, balance amount, used amount, validity details and also the details of gift card transactions can be checked.
