Roles & Permissions

A role is a collection of permissions that admins assign to users. Admins assign roles to users to control the level of access that users have in admin-panel. A user can have more than one role.

We mainly have two types of roles - super-admin and store-admin roles.

Super-admin roles

Super-admin roles are used in super-admin panel while assigning roles to its users.

Create a new super admin role with required set of permissions

New Super admin roles can be created by assigning roles to user to control the level of access that users have in admin-panel. A list and sublist of access areas will be listed from which required access can be assigned to user

Role detail

User can create, view, update and delete a role. He can also update it's permisions.

Manage all users assigned to the role.

Here we have the list of all users having the role. Also, we can add the role to more users or remove the role from a user.

Store-admin roles

Store-admin roles are used in Store-admin panel while assigning roles to it's users.

Just like a super-admin role, user can create, view, update and delete a store-admin role. He can also update it's permisions. But unlike super-admin roles, these roles will be used in store-admin panel for managing roles of it's users.

IMPORTANT: System roles "Global admin" and "Store-owner" cannot be edited or deleted!.
