Kitchen Order Ticket
The Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) is an essential tool for communicating orders to the kitchen staff. When an order is placed through the POS system, the KOT is generated and printed, containing all the necessary details to ensure smooth and accurate preparation of the order.
Setting Up KOT printers
To configure a Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) printer in the POS system, navigate to the 'Settings' tab and select 'Printer Options'.
Click the 'Add' button right to KOT Printers, and input the printer details, along with the required product, sale type, and sale channel tags. After filling in the necessary information, click 'Add'. The printer will then be added to the list with the provided details.

The auto-print feature must be enabled to ensure automatic KOT generation. However, if needed, the KOT for a specific order can also be printed manually from the Order/Transaction Details page in the POS system.
Additionally, the system allows for multiple KOT printers to be configured. Each printer can have specific tags assigned, making it easier to manage orders and streamline operations.
KOT in Online Ordering
For orders placed online, the KOT printing process varies based on the order day:
- Same-Day Orders: When an order is placed for immediate or later delivery on the same day, the KOT will be printed automatically as soon as the order reaches the POS terminal.
- Future-Dated Orders: For orders scheduled for a future date, the KOT will print on the delivery day when the POS terminal is turned on.
