Birthday Coupons

The Birthday Coupon is a system-generated coupon that rewards eligible customers during their birthday period. Unlike regular coupons, the Birthday Coupon is created and managed by the system and is automatically made available to customers who fall within the configured birthday availability period.

Each eligible customer can redeem the Birthday Coupon once per year.

Most of the configuration options, coupon rules, and restrictions available for standard coupons are also supported for the Birthday Coupon. This allows you to configure the Birthday Coupon in the same way as a standard coupon while the system automatically manages customer eligibility and coupon availability.

The Birthday Coupon uses the fixed coupon code MYBIRTHDAY.

Details

The Details tab displays the current configuration of the Birthday Coupon, including its availability period and other configured settings.

Edit Birthday Coupon

The Birthday Coupon can be edited from the Admin Panel. Most of the configuration options available for standard coupons are also supported, enabling you to configure the Birthday Coupon using a familiar interface. Birthday Coupon Details

The following settings can be configured:

  • Coupon Name
  • Label
  • Description
  • Coupon Image
  • Birthday Availability Period
  • Coupon Action Type (% or fixed)
  • Coupon Rules
  • Maximum Product Qty

Any changes made to the Birthday Coupon are reflected immediately in the Online Ordering system and are synchronized to the POS during the next sync.

Some settings are managed by the system and cannot be modified. Coupon rules are optional for the Birthday Coupon.

Pause or Resume Birthday Coupon

You can pause or resume the Birthday Coupon for all customers from the Admin Panel.

  • Changes are reflected immediately in the Online Ordering system.
  • Changes are reflected in the POS after the next synchronization.

Birthday Coupon Details

The Birthday Coupon can only be paused or resumed at the coupon level. Pausing or resuming the coupon for individual customers is not supported.

Usage History

The Usage History tab displays all Birthday Coupon redemptions.

For each redemption, the following information is available:

  • Order Number
  • Customer Name
  • Date and Time of Redemption
  • Store of Redemption

You can also:

  • Filter the usage history by Date Range and Store.
  • Export the usage history for reporting and analysis.

Birthday Coupon Details

Active Customers

The Active Customers tab displays customers who are currently eligible to redeem the Birthday Coupon based on the configured birthday availability period.

For each customer, the following information is displayed:

  • Customer Details
  • Coupon Status (Redeemed or Not Redeemed)

Birthday Coupon Details

This section helps you identify customers who are currently eligible for the Birthday Coupon and track whether they have already redeemed it.

Accounts

The Accounts tab allows you to configure the Chart of Accounts (COA) associated with the Birthday Coupon.

If accounting integration is enabled, you can configure or update the required COA accounts for the Birthday Coupon from this section.
