Roles and Permissions
POS users/staffs are assigned specific roles and permissions, which are managed by the Superadmin.
Restricted roles
If a staff member lacks the required permission for their assigned role to perform an action, an alert message will be shown, and the functionality will be restricted.
Staff with no POS role assigned
If not even one POS role is assigned to a staff, they can log in to the POS with the POS Passcode for their assigned stores and perform sales only. Access to other functionalities like refunds, quick refunds, customer tab, transaction tab, apply coupons, apply discounts etc., will not be available to them.
Manager protected actions
While assigning permissions to roles, certain actions in POS can be restricted with a manager passcode by enabling the "Manager Passcode" option. For such actions, even if the staff has permission, the manager passcode will still be required to perform that action from POS App.
